6kW off-grid solar systems for Nigeria
When you buy a solar system for a customer, “6kW” alone does not tell you enough. You also need to know how many panels are included, how much battery storage is provided, and which parts are being supplied together.
For a recent order bound for Nigeria, we prepared two off-grid solar system sets with the same configuration. Here is what was included and what a buyer should check when considering a similar system.
What was 6kW off-grid solar systems for Nigeriaincluded in each set?
- Five 585W dual-glass solar panels
- One integrated unit combining a 6kW inverter and a 16kWh battery

- Across the two sets 6kW off-grid solar systems for Nigeria, the order included ten solar panels and two integrated inverter-and-battery units. Five 585W panels provide 2.925kWp of rated panel capacity per set. The ratings describe different parts of the system: 6kW is the inverter rating, while 16kWh describes battery storage capacity. A 6kW inverter does not mean that each set contains 6kWp of solar panels.
- Would the same configuration suit another project?
- It depends on the site. The number of panels and the amount of battery storage should be checked against daily electricity use, the highest loads running at the same time, available sunlight, installation space and the hours of backup required. Battery capacity alone cannot tell you exactly how long a system will run. That is why an installer or EPC team should start with a load list and a usage schedule, rather than selecting a system only by its inverter rating. This Nigerian order is a real configuration example, not a standard specification for every buyer. Before placing an order, a buyer should also confirm the exact equipment models, battery specifications, output voltage and frequency, warranty terms and shipping terms in the quotation.
- 6kW off-grid solar systems for Nigeria Packing and dispatch
- The equipment for this order was packed in wooden crates and loaded onto a truck by forklift. Photos and video of the actual loading process belong here so buyers can see how these two sets were handled before dispatch.
- Request a configuration for your project
- If you import, distribute or install off-grid solar systems, send us your destination country, required quantity, main electrical loads and desired backup time. With those details, we can discuss a suitable panel, inverter and battery combination and prepare a quotation for your project.
